Kepala Unit TWCB, Bambang Irianto, di Magelang, Senin (20/8/2012), mengatakan pada  libur Lebaran 21-26 Agustus 2012 TWCB akan menyajikan sejumlah kesenian tradisional di Museum Borobudur.

Sejumlah kesenian tersebut, antara lain tari tradisional, coke’an, gambyeng, pertunjukan sulap, orkes keroncong, dan pagelaran wayang kulit.

Selain itu, katanya, TWCB juga bekerja sama dengan pihak ketiga untuk memberikan fasilitas atraksi tambahan seperti kuda tunggang, andong wisata, dan sepeda wisata.

"Seluruh sajian hiburan dan fasilitas atraksi tambahan tersebut diharapkan dapat menambah lama kunjungan wisatawan di Candi Borobudur dan kawasan sekitar.

Ia mengatakan, semakin lama pengunjung di Borobudur diharapkan berdampak positif bagi pedagang kaki lima dan UKM yang berada di Borobudur.

"Kami berharap, semakin lama pengunjung berada di Borobudur maka mereka akan membelanjakan uangnya kepada pedagang di sekitar Borobudur," katanya.

Ia mengatakan, selama libur Lebaran manajemen TWCB tidak menaikkan harga tiket masuk Candi Borobudur, baik untuk wisatawan nusantara (wisnus) maupun wisatawan mancanegara.

Tiket yang berlaku pada libur Lebaran 2012, katanya, sama dengan hari biasa, yakni Rp 30.000 untuk wisnus dewasa dan Rp 12.500 untuk wisnus anak. Sedangkan untuk wisman dewasa 20 dolar AS dan wisman anak 10 dolar AS.
